Agora Streamlines AUSD Creation via Automated Wire Matching
Metal · 19 Oct 2026
Agora said on Oct. 13, 2026 that dollar mints of its AUSD stablecoin are now automatic when a customer wires dollars to a route. The update removes manual steps for users who set up a route in advance.
Route Setup
A holder creates a route once inside the Agora Platform or through its API. The route records the token name, the chosen chain and the destination wallet address. After creation the system assigns a unique memo to that route. The memo includes a check character so any damaged entry fails to match another route instead of processing incorrectly.
Memo and Wire Process
The customer sends dollars from a bank account already on file with Agora and places the memo in the reference field of the wire. The wire must arrive in the exact name of the organization listed on file. When the funds reach Agora the platform matches the memo to the stored route.
Matching and Minting
Once matched the system performs its internal checks. If everything lines up it mints AUSD directly to the destination wallet on a one for one basis. Wires that do not match any route or fail checks are held for manual review. The design prevents any single wire from triggering more than one payout.
Supported Chains
AUSD operates on several mainnets. Holders can direct mints to wallets on Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum and Base according to the route they created. The same automation now applies to any whitelabel token issued through the Agora Platform.
Planned Updates
Agora plans to extend the same automation to dollar redemptions. It also intends to add a wire status view inside the Platform so users can track incoming transfers. Both features remain in development and are not yet live.
The change gives holders a repeatable path from bank wire to stablecoin balance without repeated manual approvals after the initial route setup. Each route stays available for future wires so the process repeats with the same parameters. The memo system and review layer keep the matching step controlled while the one for one mint preserves the dollar backing for each new AUSD unit. Holders on the listed chains receive the minted tokens in the wallet they named at route creation.
